Heritage is one of the oldest and most personable banks in both Covington and Slidell. In 2016, the 93-year-old financial institution was in the largest transition of its life. The challenges included updating and refocusing branding and print efforts, introducing new account programs such as HB Cash Rewards and HB Prime, bringing its app and website technologies into a more prominent and modern role, and connecting even more with communities through social media and blog posts. All the while, the bank was gathering momentum for the tremendous milestone of going public with one of the Northshore’s oldest businesses.
It’s easy for a business to promote that it cares about the local community, but seldom does it live up to that promise as does Heritage Bank. From sponsoring food drives and strong support of the local Farmer’s Market, to standing outside and waving as local traffic passes by, Heritage has ingrained itself into every facet of the community. Even Santa stops by Heritage Bank for yearly visits, not just for customers, but for the whole community. The branding reflects just that. Hundreds of personal relationships built this stable bank and grew the company to what it is today.
Along with transitioning the website into a responsive and more modern design, Anntoine’s marketing platform was to highlight that the utilization of banking technology was as personal and interactive as working with the actual banking staff. The website design also featured our most ambitious technological undertaking in its functionality, simplicity, and graphic design aesthetics. The website is live today and driving, on average, 30% more daily activity than its previous design.
We also managed to flex our creative muscles a bit by producing a short animation that helps introduce Heritage Bank’s new HB Cash Reward and HB Prime Checking Accounts. The spot helps educate customers, both new and loyal, on the benefits of the new featured accounts and helps reinforce the friendly atmosphere Heritage embraces.
